Award Winning Motors

Award Winning Motors

Brushless AC Servo Motors (30W – 3000W) with their fast response time and optional brake and gearbox are ideal for motion control applications (Click to download JEDL Motors Brochure) in diverse industries such as textiles, diamond cutting & polishing, robotics, machine tools, packaging, printing, woodworking and many more.

Special purpose motors designed to meet specific application requirements are also available. These include high speed motors, ultra-low cogging torque motors and motors that meet specific electrical parameters.

These motors are fitted with optical incremental encoders from Jayashree Encoders.

BLDC motors and low voltage drive.

Brushless DC motors (JEDL Motors Brochure) offer several advantages over brushed DC motors, such as higher torque & efficiency, longer life, increased reliability, much lower electromagnetic interference (EMI) and require very little or no maintenance.

Brushless motors are commonly used in printing machines, textile machines, coding machines, conveyors, packaging machines, sewing machines, jewellery machines, actuators, door operators, machine tools, etc. in adjustable or variable speed applications. They can develop high torque with good speed response. In addition, they can be easily automated for remote control.

1 HP BLDC Motor & Drive

1 HP BLDC Motor & Drive

1 HP BLDC motor with a 230 V AC drive can be used to replace a 1 HP induction motor with VFD in all types of applications that require simple speed control. The BLDC motor is about 1/3 the size and weight of a 1 HP induction motor and operates at over 85% efficiency (as compared to about 70% for the induction motor). The energy saving alone delivers a payback of about 1 year.

The size & weight advantage can be used to make machines more compact and cost efficient.

230V Drive & Motor

230V Drive & Motor

The 230 V AC fully digital servo drive can be used to drive motors up to 400W for applications that require very precise position control and a fast response time.

Servo systems can be used in CNC machining, factory automation, and robotics, among other uses. Their main advantage over traditional DC or AC motors is the addition of motor feedback. This feedback can be used to detect unwanted motion, or to ensure the accuracy of the commanded motion. The feedback is provided by an encoder .

Motor with integrated drive

Motor with integrated drive

Integrated low voltage servo drive & brushless servo motor (Download Brochure) offers a very compact solution to many motion control problems in a wide variety of applications such as packaging, diamond cutting & polishing, embroidery machines, wood working machines, etc.

Simply provide 48/60 V DC power along with pulse & direction signals to operate and control the motor.

Eliminates unnecessary cables and clutter inside the machines and a separate panel to house the drives is no longer required.

Brushed DC Motor

Brushed DC Motor

Brushed DC Motor with Ultra-Low Cogging: High performance motor with compact light weight construction. Excellent servo characteristics & rapid response due to high ratio of peak torque to stalled torque and minimum armature inertia.

No electrical losses in the field system because of permanent magnet excitation.
